Every jewelry item arrives shipped to you in a hand stamped jewelry or gift box, tied with a twine bow, ready for gifting. If you would like your order gift wrapped, you may select it at checkout. Drinkware and clothing do not come in gift boxes, however, if you select gift wrapping for them, a box will be included as well.

We make every item to order and fill orders as quickly as we can. We generally process your order within 2-5 business days. Once an item is shipped, it should reach you within 3-5 days if you selected First Class mail, or 2-3 days if you selected Priority Shipping. However, we cannot be held responsible if a package is rerouted and takes a tour of the country before it gets to you. Sometimes the USPS is a little funny. If you need something in a giant hurry, please send your package Priority Express or UPS which is our recommended method of expedited shipping.International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes. Packages rejected by customers at Customs will not be refunded.

If you are unhappy with your jewelry or gift for any reason, you may return it for a refund within two weeks of receipt. All custom items including jewelry, baby clothing and home goods are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned unless we made a spelling mistake. Please email us at randi@shopsaltandsparkle.com with your order number and the products you would like to return to us. Items must be unworn, unused and in original packaging to be eligible for a refund. Please note that return shipping is paid for by the customer and your original shipping charges will not be refunded.

Salt and Sparkle jewelry is designed with quality products and is meant to last. We offer repairs on any of our jewelry purchased directly from us or from any number of retailers around the country. If your jewelry is broken, please send us an email with a photograph, a copy of your receipt and a description of the problem to randi@shopsaltandsparkle.com.  If your jewelry was broken or damaged within the first year of purchase, we will repair or replace it at no charge, except your cost of postage to send us the jewelry.  If you need assistance after the first year, there will be a small fee for repair or replacement. Email us! Please note, tarnishing is not damage and some of the metals you can purchase from us will tarnish. We will not replace jewelry because it is tarnished. 

Metals

• Silver Aluminum stays bright and shiny and is less reactive to skin than other types of silver colored metals.

• Yellow Brass is tumbled, polished and beautifully bright shiny gold.

• Pink Copper is polished to a gorgeous rose gold glow and feels warm and lovely.

• 14k Gold filled jewelry looks and feels like 14k gold. It contains more gold than gold plated and does not flake off, rub off or turn colors. Anyone who can wear gold can wear gold filled without worry of allergic reaction. 14k Rose Gold filled has trace amounts of copper to make it pink – so if you are very allergic to copper, rose gold-filled is not for you. 

• Sterling silver does oxidize over time with exposure to the elements, but any silver polish will restore it to its original beauty. 

• Please note that brass and copper also both oxidize and some people have reactions to these types of metals.  We like to consider these metals as living and breathing. They react to heat, to cold, to your body temperature, to your chemical makeup - everything! Every body reacts differently, or not at all, to these two types of metals.

• The vegan ink will fade over time. Keeping your stamped metals out of water will help to lengthen the life of the ink.

• It is not recommended to sleep, shower or exercise in stamped or handmade jewelry. It is recommended to keep your handmade jewelry free of lotions and chemicals, and to keep it in a jewelry box or pouch overnight.

Drinkware

• If your drinkware is created with vinyl lettering, your cup is handwash only.
• If your drinkware is created with sublimation lettering, your cup is dishwasher safe.

• The only drinkware we offer that is microwave safe are the ceramic coffee mugs. Tumblers, water bottles and tin mugs are NOT microwave safe.

Clothing

• We use high quality baby and kids clothing that we dress our own child in. Some items are 100% organic cotton, some items are 100% cotton and some are a cotton/poly blend. We recommended you machine wash and dry your clothing inside out to preserve and extend the life of your vinyl.
